10 on Tuesday

1.  Maggie has been especially cranky lately...everything sets her off. I want to watch a movie, I don't want to get dressed, you cut my orange wrong...and that was all before 9am. I really hope it's just a phase - she used to be so easy going about everything

2. Kaden has signed up for running club again this year. He seems to really enjoy it, though I wish it wasn't before school. I keep forgetting, and don't remember until 10 minutes before he has to be there

3. The dance year end show is coming up fast. I'm excited to be helping out back stage again...brings back so many memories :-)


4. This year I am attempting to grow tomatoes. This may not seem like a big deal to most people, but I am horrible with vegetation of any kind. Case in point: When Sean and I were first married we got a couple of cacti for our kitchen window ledge. They died not long after due to lack of water. True story. So the whole tomato thing is kind of a big deal. So far I've had the plants for a week, and they are still alive and look happy!

5. In case you didn't know, Costco has their 4x6 prints on sale for 8 cents!! What a deal!

6. I can not even begin to tell you how much I love my new sewing machine! I know I mentioned that last week, but now that I've done a bit more sewing on it, I love it even more. It's so fast, is quiet, doesn't skip stitches, I don't have to un-jam it every 5 minutes - as Sean puts it, "You love it because it works" Yes, yes I do!



7. This is the first full summer we've been in our house since we bought it 4 years ago!

8. I have a huge list of books I want to read, but I'm horrible at making the time to read them.

9. We are paying someone to paint our fence this year. We have a ridiculously large backyard, which is entirely fenced, as well as a 12 foot or so stretch in the front yard...so we decided in the time it would take us to do it, it was worth paying someone else to do it for us. Then we can do something else that's more fun...like plant and weed the garden, and cut the grass 



10. In 5 days I will be here

or at least some beach very much like this one. I'm so excited to go and spend some time with Sean. I don't think the internet connection is very great at our resort, so I probably won't have any posts next week, but I'll try to at least get a picture or two on facebook or instagram for ya :-)
