This is Halloween, this is Halloween, Halloween Halloween

Around here, Halloween is kind of a big deal. We go all out. Our house gets decorated (inside and out), costumes are almost always home made, and pumpkins are turned into Jack-O-Lanterns. We have fun with it. Last night was Jack-O-Lantern making night for FHE. The kids enjoyed themselves...oh who am I kidding, Sean and I had a lot of fun too!! Here's some high-lights. Enjoy!

---Anise getting into it---

---Sean scooping out his pumpkin---

---Kaden had a two handed approach. I think he looked a bit like a surgeon with both his hands inside, two spoons going and muttering under his breath when he missed something---

---The kids with their Jack-O-Lanterns---

---All lit up---

---And I saved the best for last---

Quilt teaser

I'm so close to being done Kaden's quilt!! All I have left to do is tie it, which I will do next Tuesday with Grandma. She has an awesome wooden frame that Grandpa made years ago, and she has quilted and tied dozens of quilts on it. Kaden's is next. I'll be sure to take some pictures. But, since I couldn't wait to show it off, I took a picture of the top all done. It's hard to see the patterns on all the blocks in this one, but I'll do some close ups next week when it's finished. :-)
